Silicone Oil-2333 / Silicone Leveling Agent / Polyether Modified   (Esther-Silicone 2333) provides a strong reduction of the surface tension of the coatings and printing inks. It therefore particularly improves substrate wetting and avoids cratering. Surface slip and gloss are also increased. In aqueous systems it improves the anti-blocking properties. 

Esther-Silicone 2333 is a highly effective silicone additive. It provides a strong reduction of surface tension, thereby improving the wetting of critical substrates.

Application :

Coating and Printing Ink Industry :

Esther-Silicone 2333 is particularly recommended for all solvent-borne, solvent-free and aqueous coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes.

Adhesives & Sealants :

Esther-Silicone 2333 is particularly recommended for improving the substrate wetting of adhesive systems based on polyurethanes, epoxies and acrylates.

Application Method :

Esther-Silicone 2333 leveling agent can be added in coatings, paints in any manufacturing process; typical amount of 0.05% -0.5%, the specific dosage to each system is different, so it requires to determine by experiments.

Storage and Validity :

Because this product its viscosity will increase when it is under the sunlight, so need to avoid sunlight when storage. 

Unopened stored at room temperature; the shelf-life of the product from the date of production for 12 months.

Note :

Esther-Silicone 2333 at the temperatures below -20℃, the product will be crystallize, it needs heating to make it dissolve and then use, repeat crystallize and re-heating will not affect the results
