Silicone Oil-9040 / Cyclopentasiloxane and Dimethicone / Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer (Esther-Silicone 9040) is cross silicone elastomer and nanoscale particle size elastomer dispersed in cyclopentasiloxane, has certain form and volume, can’t be soluble in oil phase, just can be exist with dispersion only. It can provide silky feeling crosspolymer, it mainly for hair care products, can provide silky feeling and soft feeling for hair, can be used in top grade hair care products and thickening agent in oil phase.

Foundation : 5%-60%

Esther-Silicone 9040 will be effective under low concentration, the real dosage should be determined by formulation.

Esther-Silicone 9040 can be added at the last stage of formulation.

Esther-Silicone 9040 can’t be soluble in water
